BBC Two 2021-Present
On October 20th 2021, the majority of the BBC's adult domestic channels underwent a refresh to bring in an updated BBC blocks logo, with placement designed to be consistent across channels to allow for a smoother flow. Having only seen a large refresh of their presentation a few years previous, huge changes weren't seen on BBC Two, with the existing curve idents all re-edited to include the new logo placements and some additional stings or blips added in.

BBC Two's idents were refreshed with the new logo from the beginning of programmes at 6.30am on October 20th. The same idents were in use, just with the updated logo positioning. Thankfully at this point the 'Channel of the Year' text that had been slapped on them for most of 2021 was also dropped. The first ident to air was 'Illuminating', complete with a very generic pre-recorded ident which had been the case for some weeks after a playout failure in London.

BBC Two (Sign Zone - Captivating) - October 2021
The next 'refreshed' ident to air on BBC Two on launch day on October 20th was a 'sign zone'. Whereas previously the text was overlaid, for the new look a style mimicking that of the end credit promotions was employed, squeezing the ident to the left of the screen, with the result being both BBC Two's curve and a BBC logo no longer in a location consistent with other main idents and promos on the channel. A definite first mis-step in an otherwise slick new look.
